Ferrari 360 & F430 Gated Manual Conversion
Closest to OEM at a Reasonable Price
About Cambio Manuale LLC
At Cambio Manuale we are passionate about Italian cars with a manual transmission.
To share our passion and to serve like-minded individuals who enjoy being in control and shift for themselves, we have designed and developed gated manual conversion kits.
We manufacture Gated Conversion Kits to convert Ferrari 360 and F430 cars from automatic F1 to gated manual 6 speed with a clutch pedal. The kits include new quality aftermarket parts and new Ferrari parts. We have a privilege of providing those kits to both specialty shops and a DIY community worldwide. To simplify the installation, the kits are shipped pre-assembled. Even details like bolts and nuts are pre-positioned. The kits come with post sale support.
The kits have already been tested with many cars covering thousands of trouble free miles on multiple continents. We have earned a 100% customer satisfaction. This makes us confident that you will enjoy our kits as well.

Frequently Asked Questions and Answers
The kit includes everything what is needed to convert Ferrari 360/F430 from F1 to gated manual, including electronics and programming. Fluids are not included.
Here is a video showing the items included in the kit package:
The kit should be installed by a licensed professional mechanic or a DIY person with comparable skills.
At Cambio Manuale we have pioneered a simplified conversion which does not required transmission removal as with all the previously available solutions. When the transmission is not removed, we provide clutch hydraulics which are compatible with F1 fluid.
With transmission removal, all clutch hydraulics are converted to use brake fluid, like in the original gated manual Ferrari cars.
As a result we provide two types of kits:
1) Easier, DIY, with F1 fluid based clutch hydraulics. It does not require the transmission removal during the conversion and skilled DIY people report 40 hours to install it, in a home garage and without a hoist, doing it for a first time.
2) More difficult, professional, with brake fluid based clutch hydraulics. It requires transmission removal and is more complicated. It is best suited for professionals and people planning to install a new clutch during the conversion. Professionals with properly equipped Ferrari service shop report installing this kit in about 40 hours.
Of course both professionals and DIY people with appropriate skills can choose any of the two options. Important factor to consider during the conversion is clutch wear. If the clutch is almost new, the “easier” kit is more appropriate. If the clutch is worn out and will need a replacement soon, the more “difficult” kit should be chosen and the clutch work should be done with the conversion.

We have also pioneered fully complete kits with ECU and Instrument cluster handling at customer premises,. There is no need to ship the engine ECUs or instrument cluster as required with our competitors. So there is no risk of loss or damage during the shipping.

No. We do not install, but we can refer you to experienced shops or individuals who have already performed our kit installations within United States, Canada, Central America, South America, Europe, Australia and Asia. You can either bring the car to an installer or receive help in-person at your location or remotely. Please just let us know your location and needs to check what is available in your area.
Yes, we want to help people who have installed products from competitors but would like to upgrade to our components.
In this case we can sell a partial kit as needed, here is an example of someone who has upgraded to Cambio Manuale (Dr S).

Shipping is free and insured within continental USA and the buyer pays shipping (and associated duties, taxes, insurance if desired etc) elsewhere.
Please contact us regarding the current package size and weight. You can compare rates at UPS, Fedex, DHL, USPS and others. If you know someone traveling to your country from USA, we can also ship for free to a USA address and you can make arrangements to take it from there.
Engine Control Unit (ECU) related work is needed to complete the conversion.
For the F430 we ship the kit with a sophisticated but simple to use device which the installer plugs into the vehicle and the device takes care of all ECU and instrument cluster work.
Ferrari 360 ECU programming is now done at the customer premises. No more ECU or instrument cluster shipping. Please contact us for details.
Our ECU work is guaranteed to pass California smog test.
We offer a $2,000.00 reward to any customer who successfully fails California smog due to our changes.
We provide equipment to program instrument cluster at your location to operate in a manual mode. Without it, F1 related error lights will be displayed after the conversion.
Make sure to NEVER remove the instrument cluster, and instruct your mechanic to NOT remove the cluster and NOT to ship it anywhere, it is not needed with our solution. We have had cases where shops which switched from installing competitor products to installing our kits followed the competitor kit’s approach of removing and shipping the cluster to another programmer, causing damage in the process.
There are two ways to handle E-diff and the user should research and decide which one is best for their circumstances.
1) Retain E-diff functionality as in factory gated manual cars. This is a default kit configuration. It is achieved by using the original F1 pump with openings leading to the gearbox controls plugged up and with some electrical connector changes. Detailed information and parts are provided with the kit purchase at no additional cost.
Yes. But the LHD and RHD cars (like UK, Australia etc) differ in the clutch pedal design and other details so please specify during the ordering if you need LHD or RHD kit. The price is the same.
Yes, the conversion is fully reversible.
Just make sure to retain all the original F1 parts (including an extra F1 uncut pedal) if you think that there could ever be a need to revert back to F1.
Some of the F430 cars need trimming of the top of the center console under the shifter gate. This also needs to be taken into consideration.
No, as some of the last production F430 cars do not have the pedal support plates pre-drilled for a manual car clutch master cylinder and pedal spring installation.
You can recognize them by looking under the dash, behind where the clutch pedal would go. If you don’t see a 30mm hole leading to the front trunk and a metal plate covering this cylinder hole (from the trunk side) with two threaded bolt holes next to it, please contact us. We can ship you a correct pedal mounting plate with the kit free of charge.
F1 brake pedal is trimmed (cut) to the size used in a Ferrari 3 pedal car. We provide this service free of charge.
We ship both the clutch and brake pedals in LHD kit (with a refundable deposit for the brake pedal). You can send us back your original F1 brake pedal to get the deposit refunded (or you keep your original F1 pedal with other F1 removed parts if you prefer).
For RHD cars you can ship us the brake pedal for trimming.
Of course! Just let us know if that’s your preference.
We only provide conversion parts for Ferrari 360/F430. Please contact 6mtconversions@gmail.com (no affiliation) for Ferrari V12 F1 to gated manual conversion parts.
